Baryon asymmetry from Barrow entropy: theoretical predictions and observational constraints

چکیده
We investigate the generation of baryon asymmetry from corrections brought about in Friedman equations due to Barrow entropy. In particular, by applying gravity-thermodynamics conjecture one obtains extra terms Friedmann that change Hubble function evolution during radiation-dominated epoch. Hence, even case standard coupling between Ricci scalar and current they can lead a non-zero asymmetry. order match observations we find exponent should lie interval $0.005 \lesssim \Delta 0.008$, which corresponds slight deviation Bekenstein-Hawking The upper bound is tighter than other observational constraints, however interesting feature present analysis obtain lower bound. Nevertheless this would disappear if Barrow-modified cosmology generated mechanisms, not related modification.

The Small Observed Baryon Asymmetry from a Large Lepton Asymmetry
Primordial Big-Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN) tightly constrains the existence of any additional relativistic degrees of freedom at that epoch. However a large asymmetry in electron neutrino number shifts the chemical equilibrium between the neutron and proton at neutron freeze-out and allows such additional particle species. Moreover, the BBN itself may also prefer such an asymmetry to reconcile p...
متن کاملSmallness of Baryon Asymmetry from Split Supersymmetry
The smallness of the baryon asymmetry in our universe is one of the greatest mysteries and may originate from some profound physics beyond the standard model. We investigate the Affleck-Dine baryogenesis in split supersymmetry, and find that the smallness of the baryon asymmetry is directly related to the hierarchy between the supersymmetry breaking squark/slepton masses and the weak scale. Put...
متن کاملBaryon Asymmetry of Universe : View from Superfluid
The origin of the excess of matter over antimatter in our Universe remains one of the fundamental problems. The dynamical baryogenesis in the process of the broken symmetry electroweak transition in the expanding Universe is the widely discussed model where the baryonic asymmetry is induced by the quantum chiral anomaly. We discuss the modelling of this phenomenon in superfluid He and supercond...
متن کاملBaryon asymmetry from electroweak tachyonic preheating
We consider a scenario in which the baryon asymmetry was created in the early universe during a cold electroweak transition. The spinodal instability of the Higgs field caused by a rapid change of sign of its effective mass-squared parameter induces tachyonic preheating. We study the development of Chern-Simons number in this transition by numerical lattice simulations of the SU(2)-Higgs model ...
متن کاملEnsemble climate predictions using climate models and observational constraints.
Two different approaches are described for constraining climate predictions based on observations of past climate change. The first uses large ensembles of simulations from computationally efficient models and the second uses small ensembles from state-of-the-art coupled ocean-atmosphere general circulation models. Each approach is described and the advantages of each are discussed. When compar...
